Full Circle

Someone said to me the other day, "People become psychologists because they have problems." I would amend that slightly: "People become psychologists - or healers - because they found a way to move beyond their trauma, and they want to share that experience with others."

When I started working with energy and having others work with energy on me, I wasn't really sure where I was going with this process but I continued because it was so fascinating and felt good. I studied Reiki, Jin Shin Jyutsu and the Bengston Method, and I had some great, joyful experiences and activations.

I had my first energy-psychology healing at Miraval Resort in Tucson, Arizona in February 2016. Best trip I ever took! I could feel the energy release through my upper body. This healing was big. With Brent Baum's help, I had untied the Knot of Vishnu, without knowing what it was. This healing with Brent created the conditions to allow my Kundalini to awaken and gently flow through in March 2016. That was the beginning of the deep work, the opening of the door, and I knew I had to keep going.

That was harder. I had to look deep inside myself and process things I had never processed. Inner Child work is tough although, wow, yes, very beautiful. After a few months, I needed some time off and was called to go back into the real world - if for nothing other than to refill my coffers. I took a job and put energy work to the side for a bit. But I knew it would be a mistake to shut the door. I knew I had to keep up a practice.

I didn't realize there was much more work to be done but, again, I was led to it. I knew Brent's work was powerful and that it was a form of Energy Psychology, so I Googled the term "Energy Psychology" and up popped EFT. That tapping thing! Well, maybe that ridiculous-looking tapping does work after all, and maybe I should try it." Ding!

In early 2018, I took a professional workshop in EFT and starting working with the clinical form of this technique. After a couple of months of trying this method, I saw a friend I hadn't seen in awhile. He's a healer and intuitive. He said to me, "Claire, I have to tell you...your energy has changed, and it's really good!" Well, wow. That was such a gift to hear. My work was paying off.

In March 2018, I began to work with clients. They quickly began feeling better and getting results with tapping. I realized that I loved doing this work and helping people get over things like anxiety and other negative effects of old traumas. So, that was that. I have continued my studies with EFT and am working with clients. I also started to get deeper into mindfulness, and I have begun taking graduate-level counseling classes in psychology. I want to be the best healer/helper/coach I can be.

I am ready to expand my practice in the local community and to those who want to work remotely. I am so excited to be able to help people empower themselves. I have come full circle and am humbled by this gift.
